Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer

Location: Queens, NY
Pay: $60/Hour
Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Department: Radiology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other radiographic exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Ensure proper positioning and alignment for high-quality imaging.
  • Operate digital and traditional X-ray machines and fluoroscopes.
  • Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Review images for clarity before submission to radiologists.
  • Document procedures and patient information in electronic health records.
  • Assist in interventional radiology and trauma cases.
  • Educate and comfort patients during imaging procedures.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare staff for efficient patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer.
  • Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • AHA BLS Certification preferred.
