Structural Project Engineer
Salary Range: $65k - $120k Permanent Position with Benefits.
Ohio based company is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer for design and field customer interaction and site inspections. (BSCE / P.E preferred), Remote work from your home office or Akron or Columbus, Ohio business locations.
REQUIREMENTSBachelor Degree Civil Structural, (BSCE,)
Remote work from your home office, (near our Akron or Columbus, Ohio locations is preferable)
Entry level engineers will be considered, BSME or related engineering field may be considered
0 to 15 years' experience as a structural engineer for facilities (Professional Engineering license is a strong plus)
Knowledge of construction industry & structural steel concepts and design
Calculation knowledge with Aluminum, Glass, Flat Sheet, Structural support
Forward thinker for unique and alternative structural system design of building envelopes, facades, curtain walls and claddingUp to 25% local and domestic travel (~1wk/mo.) for client consulting, support, field inspections, and photo documentation (typically: Ohio, Boston MA, Connecticut, and Philadelphia PA)
Exceptional people communication skills for customer interaction, strong verbal & written consultant skills
CAD proficiency AutoCAD / Autodesk
