Regional Controller

We are seeking a Regional Controller to join our team in St Paul, Minnesota. This role is integral to our operations in the aerospace testing industry. The Regional Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, manage process controls, and coordinate integration.

This role will be vital for ensuring the financial robustness and operational efficiency of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual disclosures
  • Oversee general ledger functions such as account reconciliations, journal entry approvals, and month-end close checklist activities
  • Review and improve existing accounting processes to increase operational efficiency and integrity
  • Develop and implement effective internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguard company assets
  • Lead and inspire an effective accounting team to meet the company's strategic goals
  • Develop effective training programs to enhance the professional growth of the team members
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for financial process controls to increase efficiency and minimize risk
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any process discrepancies in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Lead the financial integration of acquisitions and partnerships, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the company's financial objectives • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with Accounting Functions.
  • Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Ability to create and manage Annual Budgets.
  • Auditing skills and experience.
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA would be advantageous.
