Measurement Manager

Aethon Energy Operating LLC (“Aethon”) “Measurement Manager” is responsible for overseeing all measurement and Operational SCADA activities within the company. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of measurement data, compliance with industry standards and regulations, and the implementation of innovative measurement technologies and processes.

DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and communicate the vision for the measurement department, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Ensure all areas of responsibility keep O & M and Capital budgets within budget restraints.
• Develop and enforce corporate policies related to measurement and Operational SCADA activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee the implementation of innovative measurement technologies and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage measurement project-related initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Work closely with various departments, including marketing, IT, Automation, Gas Control, and Production Reporting to ensure consistent and accurate measurement activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of measurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Supervise and direct measurement activities in the various operating regions.
• his position is also responsible for coordination of the monthly close with the field leads. Working with field leads in the resolution of volumetric disputes from customers and third-party custody transfer.
• Maintain system balances and keep losses to a minimum.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in measurement activities within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to measurement and SCADA.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Measurement Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications related to measurement.
• Experience with innovative measurement technologies and processes.
