[ref. c74234518] Science Community Leader (District Sales) - New York
The world needs scientifically literate thinkers, and that’s where Stile comes in.
At Stile, our mission is clear: to give every student a world-class science education, empowering them to navigate the complex world of tomorrow. We achieve this by working hand-in-hand with the real change-makers – teachers.
What we do
Stile provides teachers with everything teachers need to deliver relevant, engaging, and impactful science lessons. From hands-on labs and engineering challenges to real-world simulations and assessments, all powered by our cutting-edge teaching technology, Stile empowers educators to bring science to life. With Stile, teachers become classroom superheroes.
Our impact so far
Over 1.5 million students and 50,000 teachers worldwide have benefited from Stile in their classrooms, and we’re only getting started.
We need you
Join us on this exciting journey to reshape the future of education across New York and beyond.
This job is for you if:
- You know in your bones that the best use of your precious time on this planet is to improve education
- You’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, and haven’t yet found where to channel that energy.
- You’ve got the drive to get out and about, away from a computer monitor, and work with teachers and leaders around the country.
Yes, this is a sales role… but a sales role like no other. At Stile sales is about authentic relationships, talking about evidence-based pedagogy, and showing teachers how to best use Stile with their students. From there, the product will do the selling for you.
What you’ll be doing
Here are some of the things you’ll be doing to help change the game in science education:
- Collaborating with marketing
- Generating your own leads
You’ll get plenty of leads from marketing, but in our view any salesperson worth their salt also generates their own leads. So you’ll be making calls ahead of travel, and dropping by district offices to show your face and get your foot in the door.
- Exhibiting at conferences
- Hosting professional learning events
We run our own events too – think professional learning crossed with a beer at the pub. Our average NPS is a staggering 85. Why? Because we make sure to have fun and provide practical professional learning that can be put into practice the very next day.
- Building meaningful relationships
- Teaching (!)
Didn’t think you’d step foot in the classroom (again)? Think twice! You’ll find yourself in front of students showing just how Stile can facilitate powerful learning moments. It’s fun for you, invigorating for students, and gives teachers a moment to sit back and enjoy.
