Qualifications:- A
as an ASHA Certified SLP-
Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience- Completes
at least
two hours of professional development
in the area ofsupervision after being awarded the CCC-
SLP
(SSG can provide if needed)
Duties
/Job Responsibilities
include:
- Pro
vide CF Supervision for CF-SLPs per ASHA guidelines
Minimum 6 hours of on-site and in-person direct supervision and 6 hours of indirect supervision activities will occur during each third of the CF experience- Provide CF with the mentorship needed to become an independent practitioner of SLP services.
- Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback and assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills.
- Complete all records and feedback/ratings within a timely manner. See
- Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the
2020 CFSI
[PDF]- Provide the minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment in order for the hours and weeks earned during that segment to count.

Compensation: The CF Mentor will receive a monthly stipend provided for each CF SLP that is being supervised.
