Athletic Trainer Schools - ATS 24-17051

Pay Rate: $35/hr. to $40/hr.

Role Highlights:

• Provide athletic training services to secondary school students.
• Assess and treat sports-related injuries, and provide rehabilitation as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of student athletes.
• Maintain detailed records of injuries, treatments, and recovery progress.
• Educate students and staff on injury prevention, safety protocols, and proper exercise techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide emergency care for injuries that occur during sports activities.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Valid NCBATE (North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners) certification.
• Certification from BOCATC (Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer).
• Previous experience working in secondary schools or sports medicine settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by the athletic schedules.

Minimum Degree Required: Certification and training as an Athletic Trainer
