Department: Cardiac Surgery Stepdown

Additional Details:

• Assignment Duration: 59-day assignment
• Schedule: Rotating weekends required; no restrictions on shift contracted to work
• Floating Required: Must be flexible to float across units as needed
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year CNA experience in an acute care setting
• Certifications: New York State (NYS) Nurse Aide Certification required
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and record patient height, weight, and vital signs as necessary
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient status immediately to the RN or Charge RN
• Reposition patients on bed rest every 2 hours to prevent complications
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily activities
• Lift and position patients for care and comfort
