HR Generalist (Contract to Hire, Onsite)

As a HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's human resources department, handling a variety of tasks including payroll, benefits, and employee relations. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in a corporate office setting with manufacturing on site.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the ADP Workforce Now system as required
• Act as a backup for supporting employee benefits
• Handle front line employee relations, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues
• Work collaboratively in a two-person HR team, contributing to team objectives and goals
• Process payroll accurately and efficiently
• Manage compliance requirements and ensure they are met
• Handle inquiries related to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
• Maintain a 100% onsite presence to effectively manage HR responsibilities
• Ensure the accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding and experience in Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in Compliance and legal aspects of HR
• Proven ability in managing front line Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a team environment and also independently when required.
