(Part Time) Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities- Ensure hiring of ministry budgeted labor applicants through the Paycor Recruiting/Onboarding modules.
- Process employee hires, changes, and terminations in the Paycor HRIS.
- Process biweekly payroll for accuracy.
- Monitor HR department email and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and BBC policies.
- Reconcile monthly benefit statements and requests payment.
- Conduct background checks and/or employee verifications of employment.
- Conduct periodic audits of HRIS information.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
