Regional Sales Representative - Texas
Our client, a US-based global packaging machinery and materials manufacturer, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative based in Texas to take over an established, underperforming $2 - $2.5 million, six state (TX, NM, KS, AR, LA, MS) sales territory, including the Monterrey and Reynosa areas of Mexico.
The Regional Sales Representative will:
Work from home and travel 1-3 nights a week
Sell solutions (machinery and materials) direct to the customer
Drive sales territory growth while managing existing territory clients
Create strategy around target opportunities, sales pipeline, and closing business that often includes the sale of:
o Capital equipment
o Machinery leases
o Packaging material supply
o Maintenance services
50% account management, 50% new business development no cold calling!
Sell into the following markets:
o E-Commerce
o Distribution operations/3PLs
o Woodworking
o Printing
o Automotive parts distribution
o Building materials and merchandising/display manufacturers
The ideal candidate:
BS/BA coupled with 3-5 years of selling capital equipment or engineered solutions to process related issues.
Any of the following sales experience is desired:
o Packaging/Woodworking machinery
o Conveyors
o Material handling/robotic system/warehouse/e-commerce/workflow automation integration
Ability to sell large ticket, capital equipment items direct to end users to improve process flow, labor reduction, and on ROI is a must(link removed)>
Compensation:
$90k - $125k
Commissions on equipment and materials sold (uncapped and paid monthly ability to make $200k is real!)
