Major responsibilities- Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources
- Add financial information to journals and ledgers
- Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed
- Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances
- Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts
- Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects

- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Journal Vouchers experience highly desired
- Bank reconciliations experience highly preferred
- Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General familiarity with bank reconciliations
- Adeptness in Journal Entry
- Practical knowledge of account reconciliation
- Deep understanding of journal entries
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
- Foundational knowledge in Journal Entry Preparation
- Demonstrated knowledge of account reconciliation
- 1+ years of accounting experience required
