Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC programs using M & G codes.
- Operate and set up DMG Mori Lathes, HAAS CNC Mills (TM-1 & V-F3), and other required machinery.
- Inspect and verify parts made from prior operations.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Design and fabricate fixtures for milling operations.
- Assemble bearings and pins into finished parts.
- Conduct basic preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and tooling.
- Ensure the work area is organized, clean, and adheres to safety standards.
- Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct and quality throughout all operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills.
- Advnced understanding of turning operations, reading technical blueprints, and interpreting 3D models.
- Expertise in designing holding fixtures and inspection tools, including go/no-go gauges.
- Proficient in cutting tool selection and optimizing cutting conditions.
- Must be comfortable working in the metric system.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter initiative, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing tasks.
- High standards for ethics, quality, and punctuality.
- Ability to work under pressure and execute tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
