The Specialty Camp Instructor is responsible for providing physical, mental and spiritual growth and development opportunities for each child; and develop and implement daily plans in accordance with age appropriate programming through weekly themes and activities.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Build and maintain enthusiasm in a group.
- Develop and implement lesson plans for program times utilizing risk management guidelines, developmental characteristics, variety, creativity and weekly themes.
- Maintain equipment and facilities and use only in an appropriate manner.
- Report all program changes to Site Director or Program Director.
- Be prepared for program responsibilities as assigned including lesson plans, devotions, group activities, Family Events and water activities.
- Maintain positive relationships at all times with children, parents and co-workers.
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
- Attend/complete required abuse risk management training
- Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumers
- Follow mandated reporting requirements
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with youth.
- Must possess cooking skills to assist with cooking classes.
Preferred:
- Fitness background highly desired, including swimming skills.
- Experience with Cheerleading and Dance, highly recommended.
