Job Description- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, leading the negotiation and closing of new deals.
- Account Management:
- Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the technical and customer support teams to resolve any issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor account performance and conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales metrics, including sales forecasts, quotas, and performance against targets.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and improve sales effectiveness.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Coordinate with product development teams to ensure alignment with market needs and customer feedback.

The Successful Applicant- Experience:
- Proven track record of success in sales within the electronic components or related manufacturing industry.
- Experience in both business development and account management roles.
- Strong understanding of the electronic components market and industry dynamics.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Location:
- Must be located in San Francisco, CA, or willing to relocate.
