Youll oversee procurement strategies, drive supplier relationships, and ensure components are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

You and your team will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and senior management to ensure procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure purchased materials and equipment meet technical and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, including cost analyses, supplier performance metrics, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain conditions, and raw material pricing to manage risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a supplier performance evaluation system, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Optimize the procurement process to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for manufacturing equipment, components, and materials, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance in all purchasing activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to meet production schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that support manufacturing operations and business objectives.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with exposure to hydraulic, water, or vacuum systems.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
