Overview:

The role of the Sr. Human Resources Assistant is to maintain the Integrity and ensure human resources files and records (hard and soft copies) are maintained and up to date in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Ensuring joint commission/and ACHA readiness. Sr. HR Assistant is to be the lead of the HR Assistants in ensuring processes are developed, trained and implemented to ensure efficiency of department workflows. Sr. HR Assistant will be responsible for Records/ Contracts and Credentialing and Compliance.

Sr. HR Assistant is responsible for ensuring our agency/independent contractors, and student contracts have met standard requirements for onboarding within the health system. This position performs professional work supporting with the coordination of technical compliance and administers related contract labor, student and clinical interns, job shadow projects within various departments; develops and administering office duties/tasks, performs specialized work in planning for seasonal travelers, coordinating, and monitoring all phases of contract renewals and monitoring, and specification management; assist in negotiating contracts with director, maintain existing contracts, and provide on-site audits on files to ensure compliance for Joint Commission, ACHA, and department of children services; coordinates the development, evaluation, award, and administration of all contracts and the collection of data necessary for the preparation and modification of these contracts; oversees the design and contract review, feasibility studies, site plan review, status updates, activity scheduling, and administration of current specifications, developed internally and from outside contractors, facilitates professional and contractual support to personnel, management and departments.

The HR Records /Compliance Specialist works with schools and agencies to ensure all required documentation is received prior to the student/agency working in our facilities. Supports the department in the areas of specific knowledge with reports, demographic information analysis and research.

In addition, may assist the Director of Talent vendor management/orders or budget/financial tracking of ROI spend and submitting check request for recruitment as needed; while assisting front desk HR assistant with office coverage as needed and assist recruitment on off peak season for internal transfers as needed to reduce volume.

  • Education
  • - Bachelor’s Degree 1 - 2-year Human Resources experience or healthcare administrative or admission role and additional related compliance experience preferred. Previous lead role is preferred.
  • Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Products. Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources with demonstrated ability in the areas of customer service, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal skills both oral and written, with poise, tact and diplomacy.
