Advertising Support Clerk

Overview:

Job Summary: Assists and supports the advertising department in ad execution and product flow to the stores.

Responsibilities:

Job Duties:

• Requires prompt arrival and regular attendance
• Responsible for “Testing” various promotions within LOC
• Responsible for Promotion Signage Creation and uploading
• Responsible for Ad copy creation
• Assist in the proofing process of circulars
• Assist in the detailing of Ad Simulations for ad meetings
• Assist with promotional billing to vendors and providing back-up requests based on deductions
• Assist in the keying and management of Promotional Batches to assure the correct pricing information is sent to the stores-LOC
• Assist in coordinating of all information to the stores which enables them to accurately order product for upcoming promotions
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform general secretarial and office duties including typing, filing, faxing, photocopying and mailing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum: Associate’s Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

• Preferred: 4 or more years previous experience in related position

Special Conditions of Employment:

• Criminal background check
• Drug Test
• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring

Compensation

$15.50 - $17.00 per hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
