We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Office Manager in the Urbandale area. The selected candidate will be part of our accounting department, and will handle AP; AR, reconciliations, ordering of supplies; answering phones and directing to the appropriate person, and other duties as assigned.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while developing skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash collections, billing, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email to resolve credit inquiries.
  • Conduct regular review of all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
  • Process check requests, audit, and process credit card payments.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end processes and maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience in Cash Collections
  • Familiarity with Billing, Billing Collection, Billing Functions, and Billing Statements
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to use Excel Formulas
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Excel
  • A good understanding of accounting principles and best practices
