Career Transitions seeks a dedicated, detail-oriented onsite Customer Service Representative to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing product and service information to ensure a positive customer experience.
What you will be doing as a Customer Service Representative:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges using the company's ERP system(link removed)>
- Maintain and update customer accounts, including shipping and billing information.
- Collaborate with various departments (sales, production, logistics) to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve customer issues.
- Track orders and provide accurate updates to customers regarding order status, shipping, and delivery times.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
- Manage customer complaints, troubleshoot issues, and escalate more complex cases to the appropriate team.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Generate reports and provide data to management as needed.
What you will need as a Customer Service Representative:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
