We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the legal industry. Located in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, this role involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys in our fast-paced law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle case management duties, including overseeing personal injury cases from initiation to conclusion.
• Organize and manage case files, electronic document databases, medical records, and evidence files for easy accessibility and reference.
• Conduct thorough legal research on personal injury-related statutes, case law, and regulations when necessary to support case preparation.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel for information gathering and updates.
• Participate in all aspects of the discovery process such as preparing subpoenas, reviewing discovery requests, and assembling exhibits for depositions.
• Aid attorneys in trial preparation by assembling trial binders, coordinating witness schedules, and assisting in drafting trial-related documents.
• Use legal software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and e-filing systems proficiently to perform daily tasks.
• Adhere to court deadlines, filing schedules, and other critical dates through effective calendar management.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence as part of case management duties. • Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a paralegal role
• Proficient in using Aderant software
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is required
• Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is necessary
• Must have experience with Case Management Software
• Skilled in using CompuLaw
• Ability to handle billing functions effectively
• Must have experience in briefing
• Experience with calendar management is a must
• Should have experience in claim administration
• Excellent communication skills are required
