Job Summary
This position reports to the General Manager, and coordinates the fieldinstallation, modifications, and removal on all Scaffolding projects. This includes but is not limited to project
planning and coordination with Foremen, Safety, Customers, Salesmen, Engineering, Fabrication Shop, Hoist Yard, Shipping amp; Receiving. Daily support and monitoring of field crewsto ensure that the company’s goals for safety, efficiency, productivity, amp; quality control are all met. Reporting to this position are up to five (3-5) Field
Managers. The Construction Manager is responsible for the coaching, training, and performance of all Field Managers reporting to them
Key Responsibilities- Responsibilities include pre-job planning, which requires a review
coordination with customers, review and approval of pre-job material amp; equipment lists created by Foremen and coordinating with operations, pre-job
field verification and coordination with sales, safety and pre-job work plan, material handling plan, and Jobsite Hazard Analysis safety plan submittal
- Perform weekly Field Manager meetings to provide the General
frequent communication with customers to ensure we are meeting expectations and
to continually grow our relationship with them.
- Coordinate with Field Managers to meet Foremen and crew at the

each project. Review and approve field man hours in CrewTracks (internal e-time
keeping software) each week for payroll.
- Oversee and support the Field Managers, Foremen and crews on all
employee correction notices when warranted and conduct disciplinary action
meetings with a Senior Manager present when required. Conduct random site
visits to active jobs to check on progress, performance, and safety; fill out
safety audit reports in iAuditor during each site visit. Resolve problems on
active projects between crews, customers, salesmen, and engineering.
- Identify any scope creep on jobs, verify that Field Managers and Foremen
changes to the appropriate personnel. Track all Tamp;M work and change orders
once they are initiated and ensure that this info is communicated to the
appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- College degree or certificate in
- At least five (5) years’ experience in scaffolding, shoring, or
- Experience developing safety plans, and ability to read and
other needed documentation for internal and external communication.
- OSHA-30 Construction.
- Leadership experience/training.
- Training in Incident Investigation and Reasonable Suspicion.
- First Aid and CPR trained.
- Ability to work both independently
