The primary focus of the HRIS Analyst position is to support and maintain Dayforce, which is the primary Human Resource Information System (HRIS), as well as all other relevant components of the overall Human Capital Management (HCM) environment.This position serves as a technical point of contact for internal and external customers and assists with HR report writing, testing of system changes, analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, and ensuring data integrity continuously.
Responsibilities:
- Support HRIS system administration activities, including security setup, table maintenance, system changes, testing, researching, and resolving problems
- Maintain HRIS data integrity by performing system audits and analyzing data on a regular basis
- Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS upgrades
- Utilize the HRIS reporting tool to develop, maintain, and support a variety of standard and custom reports, including compliance, government, and business regulatory reports
- Support HRIS efforts on Dayforce exports and integrations to ensure that files are being sent and received properly and that any issues are resolved
- Maintain detailed documentation on reporting requirements, testing activities, and other HRIS processes
- Provide support to HCM practitioners by analyzing and troubleshooting issues
- Act as a liaison on data-related matters with third-party vendors
- Provide data and reports in response to internal audit requests
- Interact with IT department to resolve network issues, collaborate on security protocol, and participate in other technical projects as needed
- Contribute to special HRIS/HCM projects as needed
Qualifications:
- College degree required
- 1-3 years experience working with HCM systems (i.e., Dayforce, iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative, team environment
- Must be able to handle multiple, varied assignments in a timely manner
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate technical information to individuals at all levels of the organization with varying levels of understanding
