Accounts Payable Specialist

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Review and verify expense reports submitted by employees.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Continuously seek process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
