Studio Coordinator Summary: The Studio Coordinator is the administrative focal point for the School of Rock with outstanding customer service skills and the ability to juggle many tasks. Reporting to the General Manager, they assist with running the school, creating an amazing experience for students, parents, and prospective customers.

Studio Coordinator Schedule (Part Time Position 24 - 30 hours per week)

Tuesday - Thursday, 12pm to 8pm

Occasional weekend days for shows or special events

Studio Coordinator Skills

Handle complex scheduling for busy music school

Answers phones and field inquiries; pitch our music program

Greet and look after students in our building

Schedule and lead tours for prospective students and parents

Handle opening and closing of school

Work on special projects and other admin duties

Assist General Manager

Support seasonal shows

Studio Coordinator Requirements

Two years + working Front Desk/Reception, and/or Customer Service experience

Looking to grow with our school, long term job expectation essential

Knowledge of Apple products a must (or willing to learn)

Good verbal and written communication skills

A welcoming, outgoing demeanor and professional appearance essential

Ability to work with Google Docs & Sheets

Lives within NYC or the surrounding boroughs

Must pass background screening prior to training

Knowledge of social media

Good team player who collaborates well

Experience working with young people a plus

Interest in music or related arts helpful
