Are you an experienced contracts professional ready to take on meaningful work at one of California's largest transit entities? Our client is looking for a wonderful contracts specialist/administrator to join their procurement team. In this role, you’ll manage the entire contract lifecycle—from creation and negotiation to compliance, renewals, and closure.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee contract creation, negotiation, and execution for varied projects.
  • Manage bids, proposals, and vendor selection, ensuring compliance with District and federal regulations.
  • Analyze specifications, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Solve contract disputes, recommend solutions, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare essential documentation, reports, and maintain contract records.
  • Stay updated on procurement trends and bring innovative practices to the team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 5+ years managing contracts in a professional setting.
  • Skills: Adaptability, strong judgment, flexibility, and the ability to handle complex situations independently.
  • Location: Must be able to work on-site in Oakland.
