Overview:
Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in City of Industry, CA. The Sales department is hiring a talented Sales Support Specialist! The Sales Support Specialist will assist the Sales Team with Key Accounts, for our customers, and help them by answering questions, following through on any aspects of the sales process between the customer, sales team, and Imperial Dade departments.Create quotes and order guides. Maintain contracts. Identify and create lists of potential clients while maintaining databases of sales.
Salary: $26.00-$28.00/hr.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist include:
- Coordinate sample requests for sales consultants.
- Assist sales consultants with completing custom item requests forms.
- Assist with item research/sourcing, including forms for submission to get product number set up.
- Inventory management to increase and or decrease stock, including the necessary forms.
- New account set up.
- Complete credit card authorization forms and submit them to our corporate department.
- Complete Install request forms and submit them to management or third-party company.
- Support sales consultants to create quotes for customers or prospects with items, pricing, and mark-up.
- Assist bid coordinator with products sourcing and submission.
- Assist sales consultants with pricing including working with cost team to load PA’s, local deviated costs, and POD’s.
- Assist sales consultants to monitor & manage price lock accounts.
- Monitor and review daily order margin.
- Provide usage reports as needed to sales consultants or customers, including green/environmentally friendly spend reports.
- Create SDS book for customers.
- Coordinate custom invoice requests for customers.
- Assist with all meetings and event set up.
- Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system
- Assist management team members and executives as needed.
- Performing data entry duties regarding metrics, sales figures, and other key data
- Expediting requests rush orders and altering sales orders and shipping information as required
Qualifications:
The qualifications of the Sales Support Specialist include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of product and industry knowledge.
- An excellent work ethic.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to delegate
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Clear communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms to assist the customer work through problems and accurately describe products.
- Critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products and orders.
