Customer Service Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Specialist / Order Processor to join our clients team in Framingham. In this role, you will manage the order lifecycle from processing orders and reviewing Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy, to generating invoices using QuickBooks and calculating shipping costs.
You’ll communicate with customers for PO revisions, handle inquiries, and send payment reminders and on-hold notices. Additionally, you will assist with product returns, issue credits, and support administrative tasks like specific industry reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. Responsibilities:
- Manage and process customer orders with precision and efficiency.
- Review Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy and make necessary revisions.
- Generate invoices using QuickBooks and calculate shipping costs.
- Communicate with customers regarding PO revisions, inquiries, payment reminders, and on-hold notices.
- Assist with product returns and issue credits as needed.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Use Microsoft Excel to keep track of customer data and information.
- Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Demonstrated experience in Billing
- Ability to perform accurate Data Entry
- Skilled in Invoice Processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks is required
