The candidate will collaborate closely with faculty and staff to develop comprehensive health education programs, ensuring students thrive academically, physically, and emotionally in a supportive environment that honors both individual sacredness and community significance.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement health education programs and initiatives for students.
- Conduct health assessments and provide individualized health education counseling.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate health education into the academic curriculum.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on wellness topics including nutrition, mental health, and physical fitness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and initiatives through assessments and feedback.
- Act as a resource for students regarding health-related issues, providing referrals as needed.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and habits through outreach activities and social media engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in health education or a related field.
- Strong understanding of health promotion principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
