ARETUM, a prominent provider of technology-enabled mission support services for government clients, is on the lookout for a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer - Contingent to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on enhancing the reliability, performance, and availability of our systems and applications through effective practices and automation.

As a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions, automate processes, and ensure seamless system operations across various environments. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional services to our federal clients while adhering to best practices in reliability and performance engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Support developers by troubleshooting and debugging issues within integration environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems related to build pipelines and application deployments.
  • Develop and maintain Helm charts for robust application deployments and configurations.
  • Assist operations in diagnosing issues, providing tools for log analysis, and metrics evaluation.
  • Manage configuration activities, including maintaining version control, tracking deployments, and automating delivery and deployment processes.
  • Maintain test data sets across multiple environments to support thorough testing and development.
  • Oversee permissions and access control for development and production resources to ensure security and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or site reliability engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in managing applications within a Kubernetes environment using Helm.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines or similar tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Skilled in monitoring applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or Splunk.
