Job Requirements: -
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing-
Current Minnesota School Nurse License with PELSB-
Current Minnesota License as a Registered Nurse-
Public Health Nurse Certified -
Experience in pediatric nursing is highly desired, highlighting your ability to cater to the unique health needs of children
Task & Responsibilities:-
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to students, tailored to their specific health needs-
Assist students with managing their chronic health conditions, ensuring they can fully participate in school activities-
Implement interventions and referrals to promote health and support educational success-
Advocate for the comprehensive well-being of students, addressing their physical, emotional, mental and social health needs-Promote and lead health education initiatives for students and staff, contributing to a knowledgeable school community-
Provide expert oversight of school health services, enhancing the health and wellness culture within our school community
