Design Engineer (Millwork)
Your expertise will ensure that each project is meticulously designed, efficiently produced, and meets the highest standards of quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit).
- understanding of millwork manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction methods and familiarity with building codes is a plus.

Responsibilities- Create and review detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and production plans using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure design feasibility and compliance with specifications.
- Develop material take-offs and coordinate with procurement for materials selection.
- Provide engineering solutions for custom millwork components, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic alignment.
- Work closely with production teams to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure design accuracy.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations.
- Perform quality checks on prototypes and final products to ensure adherence to design specifications.
