Staff Accountant

We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join a growing team with a prominent organization in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including general ledger responsibilities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day transactions including expenses, payroll, and other ledger entries.
2. Monitor financial transactions and reports.
3. Process accounts receivable and payable, manage invoices and tax payments.
4. Record payroll data into accounting software.
5. Report irregularities in data to the management.
6. Assist in preparing budgeting reports and financial statements.
7. Maintain and record business transactions, balancing ledgers.
8. Assist in internal and external auditing procedures.
9. Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
2. Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
4. Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
5. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Professional certification such as a CPA is a plus.
