Sr. Accountant

The individual will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Managing tax-related tasks and ensuring timely filing
• Executing journal entries as part of the bookkeeping process
• Handling month-end closing activities efficiently
• Overseeing public accounting audit procedures
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Collaborating with team members on complex accounting projects
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations
• Providing guidance on financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Prior work experience in public accounting is necessary.
• Proficiency in public accounting audit is essential.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
