Shift Hours: Day Shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position requires a strong background in acute care and a commitment to patient-centered therapy. The role includes daily 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, providing comprehensive care and treatment to patients under physician direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy treatment as prescribed by a physician.
• Develop specific goals for patient recovery and rehabilitation through evaluations and consultations with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, attend relevant clinical meetings, and share patient updates with healthcare teams.
• Support patient families by providing information and guidance throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure therapy equipment and supplies are maintained and available for patient sessions.
• Participate in educational programs and staff training as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure in NY State or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience, particularly in acute care settings.
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
