Staff Accountant

We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team in SAN FRANCISCO, California. The Staff Accountant will be pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and handling customer inquiries. This role is particularly suited for someone who is well-versed in the financial industry and possesses strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounts payable and receivable operations
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Keep track of fixed assets and update records as required
• Execute month-end close procedures to ensure timely reporting
• Maintain accurate customer records and resolve customer inquiries promptly
• Use Sage Intacct software for various accounting tasks
• Collaborate with the team to improve and streamline accounting procedures
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger management
• Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
