The Role
JEM Research Institute, a Headlands Research site, is looking for a Marketing & Patient Recruitment Manager. The Marketing & Patient Recruitment Manager has a crucial role that assists the entire research team in successful enrollments and completion of our ground-breaking clinical trials.
This is a full-time position based onsite at our office in Alantis, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources such as physicians, and other clinical organizations.
- Manges, organizes and coordinates community outreach programs.
- Schedules talks, lunch and learns with community partners including physician practices.
- Manages marketing and advertising needs including social media posts for the site under the direction of the Site Director.
- Participates and represents the site at outreach events for recruitment and/or yearly events, (Diabetes Awareness Day, Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s Disease walks).
- Assists with recruitment planning for studies in start-up.
- Works closely with leadership to ensure recruitment strategies for all therapeutic areas are executed.
- Oversees recruitment of trial participants for both central (sponsor) and local campaigns and assists study coordinators with updating portals as needed.
- Develops strategies to ensure trial participants are contacted within 24 hours from vendor portals and/or as identified form web, social media or from referring partners.
- Effectively communicates new research opportunities with new and existing referring partners.
- Coordinates the identification of appropriate study candidates based on protocol-specific criteria.
- Leads the development of prescreen questionnaires for new studies as needed.
- Maintains strategies to track participants throughout the prescreen process until they screen for a study.
- Attends research team meetings and provides updates on recruitment and outreach events.
- Ensures coverage for outreach events and assigns duties under the direction of the Site Director.
- Reports on recruitment metrics for all site efforts including advertising, physician referrals.
- Meets with sponsors and vendors monthly and/or as needed on recruitment efforts.
- Works with remote and on-site recruitment coordinators/schedulers to ensure communication and success of recruitment strategies within the organization across multiple therapeutic areas.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service/patient engagement experience
- Experience with medical terminology
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- GCP certification
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Previous clinical research coordinating experience a plus
