Lead Platform Engineer
POSITION TITLE: Lead Platform Engineer(s).
POSITION DUTIES: Serve as a lead member of a technical team tasked with cloud onboarding activities, cloud environment provisioning tasks, providing technical support and expert advice throughout all onboarding stages of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and tracking information technology projects adhering to budget, schedule, and scope.Plan and groom the SRE roadmap, ensure delivery of the SRE program against program objectives and goals. Integrate, install, configure, test and support platform features and services. Ensure the SaaS SRE team receives the education, training and certification required to maintain expertise in financial services and SaaS business.
Collaborate to enable continuous knowledge transfer and improve service delivery. Enforce compliance of technical solutions to Temenos policies, standards and SaaS service expectations. Ensure proper planning of onboarding activities of various cloud onboarding projects.
Collaborate to align technical architecture and security with platform feature design and business goals. Monitor and track deliverables. Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies, advising leadership of opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs and/or create competitive advantages.
Provide expertise on full stack SaaS and cloud architecture for Temenos applications. Review, advise, and design standard software builds and application deployments. Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards, policies, and procedures that guide the design of reliable, scalable, secure technology with auditable process integrity.
May require to travel/telecommute.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related technical field, or foreign equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 36 months experience in job offered, Software Engineer, Technical Analyst, DevOps Engineer, or other computer-related occupation.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires three years progressive post-baccalaureate work experience to include: 1) At least 3 years managing, architecting, and optimizing enterprise production applications. 2) At least 3 years managing, architecting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.3) At least 1 year using infrastructure orchestration toolsets such as Ansible. 4) Using system monitoring and application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace. 5) Supporting Java-based production enterprise application stack including Wildfly, JBOSS, and JMS.
6) Using Azure Cloud Services. 7) Using Kubernetes. 8) Using SaaS Pipeline code.
