We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator based in Laguna Hills, California. The role is within the utilization department and will involve high-level administrative support, coordination of communication, and documentation and data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient operation of the utilization management department through direct administrative assistance
  • Schedule meetings, prepare reports, and maintain department records as part of administrative support
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and current files on patient care plans, utilization reviews, and authorizations
  • Facilitate communication between case managers, physicians, insurance providers, and other hospital departments
  • Input and manage data in the hospital's information systems related to patient care plans, authorizations, and discharge planning
  • Generate necessary reports for management
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to optimize the utilization management workflow
  • Support compliance with hospital policies, federal and state regulations, and insurance requirements
  • Schedule and organize department meetings, including agenda preparation, minute recording, and follow-up on action items
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, filing, and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Proficiency in ADP
  • Financial Services
  • Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads
  • Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings for virtual communication
  • Proficient in using Concur for expense management
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software for customer relationship management
  • Experience with About Time software for project management
  • Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently
  • Understanding of Budget Processes
  • Proficiency in Calendar Management
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in Utilization review and Utilization management
  • Familiarity with Epic Hospital Billing system
  • Experience with Epic EMR for electronic medical records management
