We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Analyst-Technical Support in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
This role sits within the IT sector and requires a range of skills, including Windows administration, scripting, and general hardware support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 IT helpdesk support to address and document IT incidents and requests effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain and administer Windows 10/11, Server 2019 or newer systems.
- Write scripts using Windows batch, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks and procedures.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT resources in offices, computer labs, and public areas.
- Evaluate, configure, test, and implement new IT equipment, software, and technology deployments.
- Showcase technology solutions to staff through demonstrations.
- Give feedback to improve IT service and support practices, procedures, and user instructional materials.
- Provide general hardware support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Use ServiceNow, ITSM, or other major ticketing systems to manage and track support requests.
- Possess knowledge of administration of Enterprise batch scheduler.
- Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems is essential.
- Familiarity with Mac Computers and Microsoft software is required.
- Experience with Active Directory management and Computer Hardware is necessary.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployments is a must.
- Applicant should have experience in Deskside Support and must be familiar with Windows 11, MS Windows 10, and Windows Server 2019.
- Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting and Python Scripting is required.
- Applicant must possess excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently is required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, along with a strong desire to learn new technologies, is desired.
- Applicant must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload efficiently.
