Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems with various equipment.
• Install and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, valves, regulators, actuators, and control panels.
• Handle and modify communication systems, motor controls, and electronic filtering and switching systems.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and County safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry.
• Maintain monitoring and injection wells, chemical feed pumps, and chemical delivery systems including piping and valving.
• Operate a 1.5 ton crane truck efficiently.
• Comply with general industry safety rules.
• Use an electric multimeter, volt meter, and megohmeter proficiently.
• Dismantle and reinstall mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Work safely with 440volt electrical current.
• Proficiency in handling electrical systems
• Expertise in electrical wiring
• Experience with electric motors
• Knowledge of motor controls
• Familiarity with industrial wastewater operations
• Understanding of wastewater treatment processes
