Job title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Cero) Location: Lake Forest, CA (Onsite) Role/Responsibilities: The customer s group works with the Microscope and Lenses domain and thus the new Contractor position / Onsite Engineer must have experience/expertise in Assembling Designs/Prototypes for Metals, Plastics, Glass, and Polymer materials.
Hands-on building physical prototypes for validation and testing. Hands-on testing of physical prototypes in the Customer Lab. Good experience on Windchill PLM. Good experience in Creo for design, GD&T and its application in sheet metal parts design, and various GD&T symbols used in the drawings.
Good experience in Creo for assembly, the options used for the assembly considerations regarding the assembly mountings, and Knowledge of Skeleton model creation for top-down assembly is required. Must know criteria considered in sheet metal and plastic parts design.
