Senior Finance Director
This opportunity offers room for growth and the ability to work 1 day a week from home. Ideal candidate will have 5 + years of leadership experience, preferably in the consumer product, fashion or apparel industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the financial planning and analysis activities.
Creating all strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Supervise Finance team, offering guidance and support as needed
Lead the financial operations of the company, ensuring its financial health • Use advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting
Drive the growth of th company by providing financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Advise various teams such as Marketing and Sales on financial analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategy with business goals
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP for efficient financial management
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency including AR, AP, Purchase Orders.
Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents
Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies.- Applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role.
- Must have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Should have experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis.
- Must have a background in consumer products, fashion, apparel or related
- Applicant must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Applicant should have strong time management and organizational skills.
- Certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role is a plus.
