Accounts Payable Specialist

This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Monday- Thursday are required onsite at their headquarters in Boston, MA. Flexibility to work remote on Friday's.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage a high volume of invoices, potentially in multiple currencies, for a global company.
• Supervise the accounts payable inbox and ensure its proper management.
• Conduct weekly check runs and payment runs, coordinating with both domestic and foreign banks.
• Oversee onboarding procedures, including the verification of banking details.
• Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders, addressing their inquiries via email.
• Regularly update vendors about the status and schedule of payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to maintain their accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all accounting functions.
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to streamline processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Netsuite preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of Accounting Functions is required.
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory.
