Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to join our Sales & Marketing team as a technical leader. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design and develop software applications, including CRM systems, that drive our Sales & Marketing initiatives.You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our existing applications and infrastructure. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our technology solutions align with business needs, setting development standards that foster innovation and modernization.

Key functions include:
- Develop and maintain software applications for Sales & Marketing.
- Utilize Azure, Azure Service Bus, and Data Factory for cloud solutions.
- Implement and manage Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Design and maintain MS SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Solve complex problems and perform detailed analysis.
- Work effectively in a virtual team environment.
- Understand CRM and marketing system processes and interfaces.
- Design new system functionality with a focus on performance and stability.
- Review business requirements to leverage CRM and marketing technology.
- Define development standards and design patterns.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, other engineers, stakeholders and end users.
- Provide high-quality customer support and on-call production system support.
- Travel approximately 5-10%.
Qualifications:
Please note this position is a hybrid role with expectations to be in-office at one of our technology hubs (Urbandale IA, Overland Park KS, Chicago IL) four days a week. This is not a remote role.- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure, Azure Service Bus, and Data Factory.
- 3+ years of experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
- 5+ years of relational database experience with MS SQL Server.
- Experience with data loads.
- Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact seamlessly at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systems.
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to function as a valuable team member inside a virtual collaboration environment.
- Must have demonstrated the capability of meeting the key accountabilities or have the ability to learn/perform them.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or Salesforce Development.
- Experience designing enterprise CRM system interfaces.
- Experience working with Microsoft Co-Pilot.
- Agile/Scrum team exposure and experience.
- Knowledge of the P&C Insurance Industry.
- Experience working with .Net applications.
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework.
- Experience with Atlassian tools.
