DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a talented Production Support Associate to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.

**Job Summary:**

Performs skilled non production activities independently which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
**Experience:**
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Job Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct inventory control processes as documented to maintain the accuracy of inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts as required by the Inventory Control Manager
  • Prepare for and perform physical inventory audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; identify and implement corrective action if needed
  • Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain inventory control and a safe work environment • Perform other duties as required
  • Assist with receiving, returns and shipping functions as required
  • Enter inventory data and transactions in warehouse management system, by keyboard and scanners, as required
  • Manage own time for task completion. Be in work area on time and exemplify good work habits and commitment to all jobs well done.
  • Utilize appropriate safety equipment, personal protective equipment, and assure all applied safety practices are followed. Be conscious of the entire facility and equipment and demonstrate the ability to not only recognize, but make recommendations for correcting any potential safety hazards.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
