Responsibilities

The Lead Warehouse Worker is responsible for various tasks related to the storage, handling, and shipping of goods within a warehouse or distribution center. The key duties and responsibilities typically include:

• Feeding materials into the machine
• Unload incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders or packing lists.
• Inspect products for damages or defects.
• Sort and organize goods in the warehouse according to established systems.
• Retrieve items from the shelves based on customer orders.
• Pack goods for shipment, ensuring that items are securely packed to prevent damage during transport.
• Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
• Operate a sit down forklift as needed.
