Clinical Scientist - Permanent - Massachusetts, US
Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist to join a dynamic team focused on advancing clinical development in metabolic and immune-related diseases.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves providing scientific and operational support for early-phase clinical trials. The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams and experts to ensure the successful delivery of clinical studies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Advanced degree in life sciences (Master's or PhD).
- Experience in clinical operations for early-phase trials.
- Strong background in scientific research and knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
- Familiarity with global clinical research regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in scientific writing, statistical analysis, and data presentation.
- Understanding of clinical development plans and project financial principles.
- Preferred experience in metabolic, cardiovascular, or immunological diseases.
- Ability to manage multi-center, cross-geography clinical operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The Clinical Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Support phase I and II studies in accordance with GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Collaborate with matrix teams to complete clinical studies on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Conduct literature research, data analysis, medical writing, and strategic planning for drug development projects.
- Lead or coordinate the development of study documents such as protocols and informed consent forms.
- Coordinate with internal teams, CROs, investigators, and regulatory agents for study planning and execution.
- Manage clinical records and documents in internal systems.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external collaborators.
