Accountant II
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client’s team on a (HYBRID) contract basis. The main responsibilities of this role include analyzing financial information, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records related to assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.
You will be key to ensuring financial integrity and providing clients with insightful financial data.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing reports comparing budgeted versus actual costs.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document accounting and recordkeeping systems.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax requirements.
Required Skills:
- Month-close experience, including journal entries and financial analysis.
- Strong computer literacy with advanced writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on responsibilities and business needs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Previous accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related financial discipline required. Advanced degrees preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial or accounting roles, with manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus.

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
