Job Summary:

The Stylist/Nail Technician at Red Mountain Resort is responsible for providing high-quality hair styling, nail care, and beauty treatments that align with the resort’s luxury wellness experience. Reporting to the Spa Manager, this role ensures an exceptional guest experience through expert styling, nail services, and personalized consultations in a serene and professional spa environment.

Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr. Commission-Based + Gratuities

Responsibilities:

• Provide haircut, styling, coloring, and treatment services tailored to guest preferences.
• Perform manicures, and pedicures with precision
• Consult with guests to recommend hairstyles, treatments, and nail services based on individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment meet health and safety standards.
• Promote and recommend salon and spa retail products to enhance guest experience and encourage wellness practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and product innovations.
• Work collaboratively with the spa team to provide seamless service and an elevated guest experience.
• Uphold state licensing requirements and follow all sanitation and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with special events, bridal services, and VIP guest appointments.
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Utah cosmetology / nail technician license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hair styling, nail services, or salon/spa settings preferred.
• Expertise in hair color techniques, styling, and precision cuts.
• Knowledge of nail enhancements, gel applications, and spa-quality nail treatments.
• Strong guest service skills with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays to accommodate spa guests.
